Shoreditch Park Beach Volleyball Court - London Borough of Hackney

The sand court in Shoreditch Park is a London-wide project that opened in Sept 2005.  Thanks to Hackney & Dartford Councils, J Clubb aggregates, the English & London Volleyball Associations, London Beach Volleyball Club (LBVC), Dartford Volleyball Club, London Spikers Volleyball Club, the U.K. Footvolley Association and others.  This is London’s first (temporary/pilot) public sand court – it is not built to permanent standards.

Mayesbrook Arena Beach Volleyball Court - London Borough of Barking and Dagenham

The sand court in Mayesbrook Arena was built to provide a home for the sand used in the LBBD 2012 Olympic birthday celebrations in July, 2009. This is London's second public sand court. We thank the Borough of Barking and Dagenham for providing the space and the opportunity to Londonners to play beachvolleyball.
